Debra Sue was born in Birmingham, Alabama, where her childhood love for horses and the art they inspire began.  As a riding instructor and trainer, she teaches dressage and jumping.   Working in pencil, oil, watercolor, and mixed media, she produces realistic animal portraiture as well as landscapes and still-life subjects.

Debra Sue and her husband, Ken, live on their farm in Millsap, Texas.  Turning Point Farm, is home to both the riding business and art studio.   Debra Sue says, “I feel very blessed to do what I love every day, horses and art”
